Bohrikadal Badshahs win inaugural Dubai league match

Parvez Rasool inaugurats Kashmiris cricket League

DUBAI: BohriKadal Badshah skipper Imran Malik’s spectacular knock left Dachigam Hanguls hapless to save inaugural contest of Kashmir Super League today here. The Second edition Non Resident Kashmiri’s cricket League in United Arab Emirates was inaugurated by International cricketer from Kashmir, Parvez Rasool.
Dachigam Hanguls won the toss and decided to bat first, aimed to set a huge target befor the opposition. Losing six wickets Dachigam Hanguls settled a target of 194 runs before Buherkadal Badshah in twenty overs.
While chasing the target Bohrikadal Badshah lost three wickets and achieved the target in eighteenth over of the inning. Skipper Imran Malik was declared Man of the Match who scored 85 runs in 32 balls and demonstrated assorted platter of entertainment before thousands spectators. Malik is known as “Imran Khan of Dubai” for his cricketing skills and he is catching eyes of UAE cricket fraternity as well as King of the land.
Backbone of the Badshah’s balling lineup Zubair Shah claimed two wickets and fetched couple of spectacular catches. Struggling injuries Muneer Mustafa another balling gun of Badshah’s missed the first contest of the League. Although, Mustafa is hopeful to play the next match.
The organizers have been promoting event in a big way on social media with morale boosting messages from some of the big guns of World cricket like, Shoaib Akhtar, Asad Shafiq, Suhail Tanveer among others.
The event is being sponsored by Power Solutions Industries owner Sajad Shawl while as each franchisee has its own sponsor.
This following teams are participating in the League Hokarsar Rangers, KhanQah Hamdans, Lal Bazar Lions, Lal Chowk Leopards, Nowhatta Rebels, Rajbagh Royals, RazayKadal Super Heroes, Safakadal Stars, Soura Qalanders, Srinagar Sultans, Pahalgam Panthers, Manasbal Mavericks, Buherkadal Badshah and Dachigam Hangul.
