New Delhi: In an ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy J&K registered its third win against the mighty Haryana by 4 runs.
J&K won the toss and opted to bat first on a good wicket of Nadan and managed to score 156 runs in their alloted 20 overs. Opener Shabham Khajuria was the highest run getter for his side. He scored 68 runs followed by Methun Manhas 31 and capitan Ien Dev singh 27.
For Haryana, Harshal patel, Ashish Hooda and Chaitanya Bishnoi took one wickets each. In reply Haryana failed to achieve the target and fell short of just 4 runs.
They managed to score 152 for the loss of nine wickets with Shivam Chauhan scoring 43 of 27 balls followed by capitan Rajat Palival 31 of 23 balls. It was the experienced Ram Dayal again who exceptionally bowled well and picked two wickets for his team J&K, with figures of 4-0-27-2. He was well supported by Umar Nazir, Manzoor Dar, Manik Gupta and Deepak Dogra who picked one wicket each.
