#KashmirSnow: When Someone SMS’s J&K Minister To Recharge His Mobile Phone

As Kashmir continues to receive seasons heaviest snowfall so far with electricity and road connectivity badly hit, the Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Naeem Akhtar was surprised when a message flashed on his phone. And the one who messaged was someone from Akhtar’s native district Bandipore in north Kashmir.

“My, Dear, Education Minister sb ,please, Recharge, me,RS.100/. I,am,in,a,sorry,condition, as, there, is, 4ft. snow. I need badly. Jameel.Ahmad.Gujar.Douban.Bandipora.”

And here is what Akhtar later did!

He put the message on his Facebook wall…

“Phir bhi hum sey yeh gila hai ki wafadar nahin. Received this early morning request. Sharing in lighter vein. Edited out the cell number:My,Dear,Education.Minister,sb,please,Recharge,me,RS.100/.I,am,in,a,sorry,condition,as,there,is,4ft.,snow.I,need,badly.Jameel.Ahmad.Gujar.Douban.Bandipora.”
